Installation Engineer
The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with the Regional Installation Supervisor, playing a pivotal role in driving the installation phase of our dynamic global projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
· Provide mechanical expertise in supporting the Regional Installation Supervisor in the execution of project builds
· Support Regional Installation Supervisor in the ongoing development and adherence to site safety files and safety documentation.
· Support Installation team on the objective of Zero lost-time injuries.
· Identify and report all near misses, incidents and safety-related events on-site.
· Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for any site safety-related event.
· Ensure compliance with CDE H&S policy and culture of 'Do It Safe.'
· Identify quality events & report to Regional Installation Supervisor.
· Provide support/information to Regional Installation Supervisor enabling completion of mechanical completion checklists.
· Ensure compliance with CDE continuous improvement culture 'Do It Right'
· Support Regional Installation Supervisor on maintenance and upkeep of company-controlled vehicles, tools, equipment & assets
· Schedule adherence for Global installations.
· Ensure Installation tracker completion daily as required.
· Budget control/adherence.
· Support Regional Installation Supervisor in the efficient completion of site installation, punch list/snag completion and commissioning support activities
· Adhere to CDE’s HR and H&S policies
Any other ad hoc duties that may be required
What you will need
Required criteria
- • Mechanical qualification or relevant experience
- • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mechanical assembly role
Desired criteria
- • Health & Safety qualification
- • Experience of building CDE products
- • International site experience
