Head of SHEQ
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be performing at a Senior Level and responsible for managing the company Integrated ISO Management System and driving a culture of continuous improvement to achieve business excellence in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust SHEQ strategy to ensure compliance with the company’s Integrated Management System
Responsible for continuous improvement within the SHEQ environment
Lead employee engagement through initiatives and support training to embed SHEQ best practices
Hours of work
45 Hours per week Monday - Friday (inclusive of break times)
This role will be predominantly based on a Day Shift pattern but flexibility to work a range of shift patterns will be required including Weekends and Night Shift.
What you will need
Required criteria
- NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Demonstrate operational SHEQ experience at a senior role.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of legal HSE policies and guidelines.
- You must be flexible with regards your working hours in order to support a 24/7 shift pattern and be able to travel outside of Northern Ireland if required.
Desired criteria
- Minimum of 2:2 degree qualification in technical/engineering or business related subject or equivalent.
- ISO9001/14001/45001 Internal Auditor qualification.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience leading Behavioural Safety programmes.
- Working knowledge of Integrated ISO Management Systems.
- Working knowledge of DSEAR/ATEX.
- Leading a team and/or people management experience.
