As a Team Leader at London Paramount Care, your role is pivotal in assisting the Registered Manager with the effective management of the residential home. About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Home Management: Lead a team to create a warm, secure environment and step in as Deputy Manager when needed.

  • Supporting People: Assist with daily activities such as toileting and washing, while promoting independence, and build strong relationships with residents.

  • Safeguarding: Follow our policies to ensure well-being and maintain accurate records.

  • Record Keeping & Administration: Track progress, contribute to reports, and handle essential documentation.

  • Staff Team Development: Recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and engaging team culture.

  • Proven leadership experience in a care setting.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to obtain).

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to obtain).

  • A minimum of a years experience working in a supervisory role

  • You must hold a valid UK driving licence, and it’s essential that you’re able to drive a manual vehicle.

  • If not already attained, by the relevant date, attain the Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • If not already attained, by the relevant date, attain the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Solid understanding of vulnerable adults or child development and children's needs.
  • Experience in working with vulnerable people in a residential setting in a supervisory role.
  • A minimum of 1 years experience working within a supervisory role
  • You must hold a valid UK driving licence, and it’s essential that you’re able to drive a manual vehicle.
