Volkswagen Technician
Location: Mallusk
Department: Workshop Service Team
As part of our continued growth and development for 2025, Donnelly Group Mallusk is excited to offer an opportunity for part-qualified or fully qualified Technicians to join our dedicated Volkswagen Fleet Team.
With our newly refurbished workshop facilities, you’ll have access to the latest tools and technologies to deliver top-quality service and repairs on a wide range of Volkswagen fleet vehicles.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Preparation & Maintenance
Perform reconditioning and servicing to the highest mechanical standards.
Carry out key repairs, including brakes, timing belts, and clutches.
Ensure accurate service and repair records are maintained.
Fault Diagnosis & Repair
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
Maintain fleet vehicles in line with Volkswagen’s rigorous standards.
Efficiency & Safety
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and economically.
Maintain a ‘right first time’ approach.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals with:
Qualifications
Currently working towards or fully qualified NVQ Level 3 in a relevant course (or equivalent, e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC).
Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience (apprentice or time-served).
Technical Skills
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Snap-On or Launch (training provided if required).
Additional Requirements
A full, valid driving licence is essential.
