About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Planning/Purchasing Administrator to support our procurement and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will assist in planning and coordinating production and purchasing activities, ensuring optimal stock levels and improving on time in full delivery.

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2:30 pm (40 Hours Per Week)

About the role

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow company systems and procedures for stock control and management using Dynamics 365 (ERP/MRP);

  • Placing and managing Purchase Orders for stock, consumables and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers;

  • Generate reports on supply performance, inventory levels and planning/purchasing activities - communicating issues to relevant stakeholders;

  • Monitor production schedules to ensure alignment with order requirements, adjusting as necessary based on supply chain or manufacturing changes;

  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products;

  • Maintain and update planning and purchasing information;

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel for data analysis, inventory control, and reporting purposes
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data related to inventory levels, production schedules, and supplier performance
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Desired criteria

  • 1 year in a planning, purchasing or stock control role
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (like Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar) for managing inventory and production/purchasing activities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
