About the role

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, providing information about spa services, treatments, and promotions.

  • Schedule appointments using the spa’s booking system, ensuring efficient time management and utilization of resources.

  • Check clients in and out, process payments, and manage gift certificates and vouchers.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.

  • Assist clients with selecting appropriate treatments based on their preferences and needs.

  • Handle client concerns or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly, escalating to management if necessary.

  • Provide detailed information on spa products and services, upselling where appropriate to enhance client experience.

  • Manage daily cash transactions, reconcile the cash drawer, and prepare reports for management.

  • Train and mentor junior receptionists, providing guidance on best practices and customer service standards.

  • Oversee the reception team, ensuring all staff follow standard operating procedures.

  • Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Right to work in Ireland
  • Good Command of English Language
  • Customer service experience
  • At Least 2 Year's Experience in a Similar Role
  • Working Knowledge of Computers, to include Microsoft Suite
