Perform a variety of nail care services, including shaping, filing, and buffing nails. Applying nail polish, gel polish, or acrylic nails. Nail technicians should be skilled in various techniques to meet clients' preferences.
Trim and push back cuticles to maintain healthy nails. Proper cuticle care helps prevent infections and promotes overall nail health.
Offer relaxing hand and foot massages during manicures and pedicures. This enhances the overall spa experience for clients and promotes relaxation.
Create intricate and personalized nail designs using nail polish, nail art brushes, decals, or other creative tools.
Stay updated with the latest trends in nail art and design to offer clients a wide range of options.
Maintain a clean and hygienic work area by following proper sanitation procedures. Sterilize tools and equipment regularly to prevent the spread of infections.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring their comfort throughout the service. Answer questions, provide recommendations, and educate clients on proper nail care techniques.
Stay informed about different nail care products, including nail polishes, gels, and acrylics. Understand their properties, application techniques, and potential risks or allergies associated with certain products.
Recommend and promote additional products or services to clients, such as cuticle oils, hand creams, or nail treatments. Encourage retail sales of nail care products and provide guidance on their usage.
Schedule appointments, maintain a well-organized appointment book, and manage client records. Ensure punctuality and manage time efficiently to accommodate clients' needs.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including using proper ventilation systems, disposing of hazardous materials, and following guidelines for the handling and disposal of chemical products.
Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and innovations by attending workshops, seminars, or industry events. Seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of nail care.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
