Cellar Stock Room Assistant

About the role
Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:
Stock Management Using Procure Wizard:
Accurately manage stock levels and supplier orders using the Procure Wizard system.
Ensure stock levels are kept up-to-date in the system, including beverage deliveries, transfers, and usage.
Liaise with suppliers through Procure Wizard to track orders and manage discrepancies or delivery issues.
Inventory Control:
Conduct regular stock counts using Procure Wizard to maintain accurate and real-time inventory records.
Ensure all stock room activities, such as deliveries and transfers, are logged into the system to minimize variances.
Replenishment:
Use data from Procure Wizard to forecast and replenish stock for hotel bars, restaurants, and event spaces.
Coordinate with the F&B team to fulfil beverage requests efficiently, ensuring all outlets are adequately stocked.
Organisation:
Maintain the cellar and stock rooms in a neat, organized manner, and ensure stock is rotated appropriately using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
Ensure all stock is stored at appropriate conditions to maintain quality and reduce waste.
Supplier Management:
Collaborate with suppliers via Procure Wizard to manage orders, negotiate costs, and track deliveries.
Resolve any discrepancies in deliveries, pricing, or product quality with suppliers.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate and analyse stock reports from Procure Wizard to track consumption, wastage, and stock variances.
Provide management with regular updates on stock levels, costs, and supplier performance.
Compliance:
Ensure all stock and cellar operations meet health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Monitor temperatures and conditions in storage areas and report any issues with equipment to the relevant teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience with stock management systems, particularly Procure Wizard, is essential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and stock levels.
Knowledge of beverage products, including wines, spirits, and soft drinks.
Experience in a similar stock or cellar management role in a luxury hotel environment preferred.
Ability to lift heavy stock and work in a physically demanding environment.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to stock and food storage.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and various hotel departments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other stock management software.
