ROLE: Marketing Lead
DEPARTMENT: Brand and Marketing Team
LOCATION: Folkestone, Kent/Hybrid - The candidate will need to be based in the UK as they will be required to visit our office in Folkestone for training/team days/client meetings. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days a week in our office.
DURATION: Permanent, full time

The role of Marketing Lead will be part of the dynamic and creative Brand and Marketing Department. With creative, digital, social and event resources at your disposal to support the delivery of marketing campaigns that cut through the noise and deliver real impact.

About the role
THE ROLE
To lead and support the delivery of the Sleeping Giant Media Marketing Strategy within the Brand & Marketing Team. Delivering marketing campaigns that provide value to potential clients and drive measurable results to the business. Leading the Integration between commercial and marketing departments, through ownership of the CMS. With the overall goal of driving inbound and therefore revenue growth for the business.
The ideal individual will be a good team player first and foremost. Utilising the strengths of a multi-discipline marketing team to deliver unique marketing experiences. A strong work ethic and desire to grow and learn is a must.
Experience in B2B marketing environments is important, along with confidence in the use of HubSpot as a CMS and Marketing platform, as well as experience in updating and using Wordpress to manage a website and build landing pages.
Your specific attention will be towards targeted campaigns with real marketing intent, being the link between our marketing and commercial departments. You will have a keen eye for attention, love trying new things and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Travel to Folkestone to support events, networking and internal BaM activities will be essential, but with the business operating a hybrid work environment, expectations are 3 days in the office a week, with the first few weeks being mostly office based whilst you get to know your team and the business. We are a fully flexible business and therefore can negotiate depending on yours and the business needs.

REQUIREMENTS
Lead & Represent the Brand & Marketing department within the company.
Responsible for delivering key commercially driven lead gen marketing campaigns and objectives.
Developing innovative ‘Transition’ touch points to move leads generated from marketing to commercial /Sales teams for greater outcomes.
Support in the planning, development and execution of core marketing activity, including;
The BaM Yearly Marketing Strategy & Targets.
Champion of the Giant Brands at all customer touchpoints.
Competitors research.
Testing new activity to drive innovation.
Delegation and workflow management.
Partnership liaison.
Budget management & Reporting.
Management of core scorecard metrics.
Reporting on performance to key stakeholders/HoD.
Point of contact for external stakeholder communications.
Potential to deliver internal and external training.
Updating and creating landing pages on Wordpress.
Drive personal brand and present insight thought leadership on LinkedIn.
