Regional Operations Manager

Due to business growth and expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Operations Manager to join Conway Group Healthcare as an integral part of their Senior Management Team.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Healthcare Director and working with an established management team, the Regional Operations Manager will implement best practices in nursing care, embedding a person-centred and quality-driven culture throughout the Company, compliant with the statutory requirements of Northern Ireland Regulatory Authorities.

The Ideal Person

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Previous leadership experience across a multi-site Care Home organisation is desirable. The Regional Operations Manager will support the existing Senior Management Team to provide leadership in achieving clinical and operational excellence in our Care Homes in the regions as outlined above.

The role will require a dedication to excellence in compliance and quality service delivery to our residents and their families. Conway Group Healthcare is flexible in the location of the post holder; however, regular travel to Homes in the above areas will be required.

About the role

As a Regional Operations Manager, your duties will include:

  • Being an ambassador for the Company, reflecting the Company's values by positively influencing colleagues at all levels, and encouraging reflective practice and a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

  • Exercising strong practice leadership to ensure compliance with all regulatory and Company quality and policy requirements through auditing and review visits

  • Ensuring the homes operate within the companies' specified parameters, with a critical focus on profit maximisation and financial performance of each Home.

  • Motivating, monitoring and coaching Home Managers to ensure they support their teams to deliver the highest standard of care in line with the Company's values.

  • Developing, managing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding complaints and incidents.

In carrying out these functions, you are expected to:

  • Engage at all times transparently, openly and in the interests of the Company

  • Adhere to the strictest standards of governance, including confidentiality, record keeping and GDPR compliance

  • Ensure the maintenance of professional standards of care within relevant Codes of Professional Practice.

  • As required by the Healthcare Director, attend internal and external meetings at all times representing the regional operations management function professionally, positively and proactively.
