About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain accurate project administration files, both paper and electronic.
Participate in detailed handovers from the sales team.
Conduct pre-start meetings with sales and production teams to ensure project alignment.
Manage and record all project costs and revenues, ensuring project variations and amendments are communicated effectively.
Maximise profits by implementing a clear purchasing policy for key items.
Keep project costing sheets up to date in collaboration with the Office Manager.
Clarify outstanding specification details directly with clients following project handover from sales.
Attend internal and external meetings as required.
Plan and prepare all necessary paperwork, including Health and Safety documentation (RAMS, Lift Plans, etc.), ensuring timely submission.
Ensure timely completion and submission of all project-specific documentation, including O&M Manuals, and quality control check sheets from the factory.
Liaise with design teams and key suppliers to ensure all necessary project drawings are completed.
Ensure all drawings (e.g., layout, electrical, aircon, plumbing) are signed off by the client before being issued to the production team.
Oversee the smooth handover of project information to the site team or site supervisors.
Ensure client payments are received in line with the project schedule and prior to delivery.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation and cost management.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Essential Experience:
Experience in a similar role within the modular building industry
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of construction site policies and procedures.
Understanding of the modular building industry and off-site construction.
