About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain accurate project administration files, both paper and electronic.

  • Participate in detailed handovers from the sales team.

  • Conduct pre-start meetings with sales and production teams to ensure project alignment.

  • Manage and record all project costs and revenues, ensuring project variations and amendments are communicated effectively.

  • Maximise profits by implementing a clear purchasing policy for key items.

  • Keep project costing sheets up to date in collaboration with the Office Manager.

  • Clarify outstanding specification details directly with clients following project handover from sales.

  • Attend internal and external meetings as required.

  • Plan and prepare all necessary paperwork, including Health and Safety documentation (RAMS, Lift Plans, etc.), ensuring timely submission.

  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all project-specific documentation, including O&M Manuals, and quality control check sheets from the factory.

  • Liaise with design teams and key suppliers to ensure all necessary project drawings are completed.

  • Ensure all drawings (e.g., layout, electrical, aircon, plumbing) are signed off by the client before being issued to the production team.

  • Oversee the smooth handover of project information to the site team or site supervisors.

  • Ensure client payments are received in line with the project schedule and prior to delivery.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.

  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation and cost management.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role within the modular building industry

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of construction site policies and procedures.

  • Understanding of the modular building industry and off-site construction.
