Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary: £25,000 – £27,500 (pro-rated for part-time)

Job Term: 25 hours per week, flexible working considered

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our friendly, supportive team based at our Head Office in Ipswich. Reporting to the Senior Advisor, you’ll be responsible for supporting our Directors and Service Managers in a varied and generalist HR role. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with the business and be involved in all things HR.

The main responsibilities will be to advise Line Managers on HR queries, manage all the stages of the employee life cycle, support the People Team, and work on various strategic and operational HR projects.

This role will suit a confident individual, who is able to build effective working relationships across a multi-site organisation and effectively manage their time with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in providing generalist HR advice, ideally in a multi-site context

  • Competent in managing ER cases

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 preferred)

  • Able to develop strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders within the organisation

  • Analytical and solution-oriented

  • Flexible approach to work and change

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies
