Tendering Engineer
Ventus Energy is seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing successful project acquisitions.
The Tendering Engineer will join a talented team within Ventus Energy's Projects Division, responsible for delivering cable jointing, termination & testing and high voltage engineering services, including fault location and repair, across a range of high voltage infrastructure projects, both offshore and onshore.

About the role
We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to work within our busy tendering team. Based at our North Shields office, your duties will include:
Turn-key proposal/tendering activities
Assisting with management of the bid processes
Appraisal of RFQ documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements
Host/attend internal, client and supplier meetings
Coordination and management of proposals
Creation and Compilation of tender documents
Liaison with various internal personnel
Communication with clients
Submission of proposals

What you will need
Required criteria
- IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc.)
- Team player
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Organisation skills
- Familiar with offshore wind terminology and specifications
- Previous experience of tendering in the offshore wind renewables environment
- Attention to detail
Desired criteria
- Familiarisation with MS Project
- Understanding of electrical testing
- Understanding of termination and testing in the offshore wind sector
- Contractual understanding
- Commercially astute
- High voltage engineering background
