The Projects Coordinator will join a talented team of personnel within the Projects Division of Ventus Energy, responsible for delivering cable jointing, termination & testing and high voltage engineering services, including fault location and repair across a range of high voltage infrastructure projects.

About the role

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Projects in coordinating the operational delivery of maintenance campaigns, projects and reactive requests. Coordinate Operational and Project teams to deliver to clients KPI’s.

  • Assist with the definition of scope requirements, specification of procurement and logistical needs, and support of competency-based progression matrix.

  • Assist with coordination and planning activities ensuring effective utilisation of resource.

  • Assist with the end-to-end procurement process, including the creation of quotes, contract variations, purchase orders and review/issue of invoices.

  • Provide financial reporting to support effective budget management.

  • Assist with the onboarding process for employees and contractors.

  • Support internal and external Safety Audit processes.

  • Ensure that relevant documentation is stored and managed effectively. Assist engineering teams with RAMS, reports and other job specific documentation.

  • Accompany engineering teams at internal/external meetings, minuting actions and assigning tasks accordingly.

  • Assist in the coordination of tools, equipment & PPE.

  • Support travel and accommodation booking.

  • Coordinate work permit and visa application processes.

  • Assist with the monitoring of shared e-mail inboxes ensuring relevant internal stakeholders are provisioned with information in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate and maintain ongoing training needs for the Projects division.
