About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site visit and assist with the installation of building sections in accordance with laid down procedures.

  • Attend Pre-start meetings.

  • Supervise Lifting operations where necessary.

  • Plan and Produce site specific RA/MS under the lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations 1998.

  • Take responsibility for the organisation and control of the lifting operation.

  • Check the building for defects and arrange rectification as necessary.

  • Manage project timelines, resources and budgets to achieve set objectives.

  • Be aware of and work within the laid down method statements, risk assessment and Health & Safety procedures.

  • Consult with the Client.

  • Monitor progress, tracking milestones and addressing issues or delays proactively.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation

Key Attributes:

  • Strong leadership skills and have experience of managing Sub-Contract Labour

  • Problem-solving and decision making skills with the ability to effectively address challenges and make sound commercial/operational judgements

  • Candidates should hold a CSCS Card (at Supervisor Level)/AP CPCS card and SMSTS

  • First aid trained

  • Candidates should hold an Enhanced DBS, due to the nature of the role.

  • Computer literate.

  • Have good administrative and man-management skills.

  • Must be willing to travel and stay away from time to time.

  • Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationship with key stakeholders across the organisation, fostering a collaborative learning culture and promote the value of learning and development
