Albert Bartlett are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Graduate to join our experienced ‘Added-Value’ Commercial Team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment within a product led organisation. The successful candidate will be based out of our Airdrie Headquarters – with some opportunity to travel for Marketing and Commercial events. About Us:
Albert Bartlett, founded in 1948, started with a passion for growing the perfect potato. Today, we are one of the largest potato growers in the UK, known for our high-quality produce and innovative products.
We supply a variety of potatoes including Rooster, Maris Piper, and King Edward. Our products range from chips and mash dishes to wedges, croquettes, and waffles, trusted by households and restaurants nationwide.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management: Set up products in line with company standards and create all new line forms.
Pricing & Promotions: Update pricing, invoicing, and promotional activities.
Data Management: Maintain and manage crucial data sets including Product Master Data, Customer Data, Contact Points, and Range Plans.
Customer Service & Engagement: Handle all customer enquiries promptly and in line with company and customer expectations. Attend customer meetings with the Key Account Sales Manager (when applicable).
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Ensure alignment of sales volumes with key stakeholders in the Operations department. Generate and update sales reports.
Administrative Support: Assist with business support projects and participate in exhibitions and events with the Marketing team.

Our story began in 1948, when Albert Bartlett started our family tradition of selling good-quality produce by setting up a beetroot-boiling operation in Coatbridge, Scotland. Nine years later, Albert’s experience and expertise helped him grow the business, and along with his two sons, Jimmy and Alex, he found a new home for their flourishing company in Airdrie, Scotland. On that very same site, we made history when we became the first factory in Britain to pre-pack carrots in a plastic bag. Over the years, our expanding business has stayed true to Albert’s spirit of innovation and passion for quality, and we’ve built on our experience. Today, we proudly supply potatoes from our network of farmers and growers across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Jersey.
Over 70 years since Albert started the business, we remain proudly independent and the fourth generation of the Bartlett family is now working in the company. Our headquarters are in Airdrie, only four miles or so from our founder’s original business.
