We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure that all kitchen areas, including workstations, floors, and equipment, are kept clean and sanitized.
Dishwashing: Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently, ensuring they are ready for use.
Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Assisting with Deliveries: Help receive and organize kitchen supplies and food deliveries, ensuring proper storage.
Supporting the Kitchen Team: Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Right to work in Ireland
- Good Command of English Language
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
