Overview

You are a part of the Strategic Insights Team (a sub-team within the Account Management Team) which provides strategic analysis on digital marketing trends to support digital strategy creation & execution. You also carry out market analysis and research as requested by Strategic Account Managers to support with preparation for meetings, calls and roadmap development.  You are on top of all things digital & market trends to provide insight into client accounts, industries and channels including but not limited to SEO, PPC, Social Media and Content Marketing. You work closely with the Commercial team to provide strategic sales observations and join sales meetings as a representative of the Account Management Team as required.

About the role

The Role:

  • Help the AM team translate clients' business goals into a clear strategy

  • Help the AM team create strategic digital roadmaps

  • Help build the collateral for Business Reviews that consider opportunities for cross-channel collaboration and identifying upsell opportunities.

  • Proactively seek growth opportunities for industries and report this back to the AM & COMBAM team.

  • Work closely with the Strategic Account Managers and COMBAM team to create proposals for current and potential clients based on your strategic research and observations.

  • Work closely with Pods to understand the latest innovations, updates, and best practices and report back to the AM team for them to include in communications.

  • Support Account Directors and Head of Client Experience with industry and pod updates that support client growth.

  • Develop processes and workflows to help keep the AM team up to date on industry news and trends to monitor.

  • Keep sales observations and recommendations up to date using industry and Pod updates.

The Person:

  • A passion & aptitude for Digital Marketing.

  • A keen interest in marketing research and looking at things from multiple angles.

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certified

  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Wincher, and Google Search Console.

  • Results-driven.

  • Proven organisational skills, allowing you to plan and present detailed proposals and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven track record managing client requirements. This includes both planning and managing multi-disciplinary campaigns, and also ad-hoc work.

  • A team player, happy to collaborate with the rest of the team to create multi-discipline campaigns.

  • Can support the creation of sales collateral as required & attend relevant pitch meetings.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Google Analytics & Google Ads certified
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Wincher, AWR and Google Search Console.
  • An excellent grasp of mathematics and basic statistics
  • Both written and spoken English to a high standard
  • Prioritisation, time and workload management
  • Evidenced passion for working in the digital marketing industry essential
