Maintenance Assistant with Travel

We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our award-winning team.

The Maintenance Assistant will be based in Ratheane Care Home, Coleraine with expected travel occasionally to Leabank Care home in Ballycastle and Milesian Manor in Magherafelt.

An Enhanced Access NI Check is required for this post.

About the role

Basic Function: To carry out repairs, service checks, maintenance, gardening and general up-keep of grounds across group locations as per Management instruction.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role.

Full driving licence and access to own car for travelling as required.

Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.

Must have a good command of written and spoken English.

Be eligible to work in the UK.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role

  • General knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Previous experience of undertaking PATS testing
