Primary Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Associates to join our team. The successful applicant will assist in maintaining the high level of service we strive for. This a busy and rewarding role, and would suit a personable and well-organized individual who is passionate about customer service and committed to supporting the needs of our guests and clients in order to provide the best guest experience.
About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
To answer all incoming calls consistently and in a friendly and efficient manner
To maintain up-to-date knowledge of the resorts, services, products, and events
To take reservations and enter bookings into the system accurately
Maximise selling opportunities by adding value at every opportunity
Achieve upsell targets
To ensure that reservation checks are completed daily
Maintain, develop, and monitor the client database
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times
Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department-specific procedures
Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures
Attend training sessions when requested
Have knowledge of the spa packages and treatments
Manage the white space available
Work with the receptionists on advising availability and offers to fill the gaps
Work with the spa manager and request therapists when needed
To be aware at all times of current business targets and to focus at all times on achieving these targets.
Liaise with front desk staff to communicate the no-shows; late cancellations; overbookings, etc.

What you will need
Required criteria
- GCSE English grade C /4 or above
- GCSE Maths grade C/4 or above
- Experience working in sales
- Customer-service experience.
- Experience of dealing with Customer complaints
Desired criteria
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Experience of working in public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries
- Experience of using Res-Diary; Ez-runner; Rezlinx; Gifted
