Senior Payroll Specialist
ISAC are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join the payroll team. The person appointed will report to the Payroll Manager. This role will be based at Fortunestown, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
ISAC is a Shared Services Company within the CRH Group which provides a centralised Finance and Administration Function for fellow CRH Group companies.

Job Responsibilities
Ensuring that our employees come first is a key responsibility of the role.
Process payrolls in an efficient manner and within the assigned timeframes
Reply to employee queries in a timely efficient manner.
Process all deductions, overtime & bonus payments as required.
Review payment of employee’s expenses.
Process employee leave requests – including unpaid leave, parental leave, paternity leave maternity leave and sick leave.
Weekly and Monthly payment of employee deductions to third parties
CSO returns.
Testing payrolls after software updates / fixes /upgrades have been processed.
Implementation of new payroll
Process parallel payroll runs for new payroll.
Liaise with Auditors (External/Internal, SOX)
Ad-hoc projects, analysis and tasks as required.
Manual calculations
Liaise with Human Resources in relation to new starter employees, terminations and changes to employee conditions.
Process Payroll submissions weekly/monthly
Complete reconciliations to ensure each payroll period balances.
Prepare voluntary and permanent deductions such as – health, pension, medical insurance etc.
Process Benefit in Kind.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
IPASS Qualification required.
7+ years’ experience in an in-house payroll environment
Understanding of all employees paid benefits including knowledge of Revenue legislation and PMOD system.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Irish PAYE and Social Welfare systems.
Knowledge of UK payroll requirements would be an advantage.
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and time management.
Detail orientated with an ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.
Working Knowledge of Resource link (Zellis) payroll necessary.
Experience of Time & Attendance systems Zellis necessary.
Good working Knowledge of Outlook Microsoft Work Excel
