LOCATION: Folkestone, Kent, UK (The candidate will need to be based in the UK as they will be required to visit our office in Folkestone for training/team days/client meetings. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days a week in our office.)

Overview

The successful candidate will be a strategist, a Sleeping Giant Media brand ambassador, a powerful relationship manager and an effective project manager. You will lead, develop and understand digital strategies for our clients, and ensure they are delivered to an exceptional standard by working effectively with all teams in the department. You will be capable of communicating Search (SEO/PPC/Content) related material to a high level. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients' accounts across multiple industries. You'll be responsible for a team of strategists to help grow them into future strategic account managers themselves.

About the role

The Role:

  • Translate clients' business goals into a clear strategy using our model which considers our holistic approach as well as identifies KPIs so we can measure success.

  • Oversee external KPI targets and ensure they are met monthly, being accountable for performance.

  • Collect and analyse metrics to provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams. Ensure that the strategy is correct and that the tactics deployed by the full client team are moving the needle using every channel available. 

  • Client communication from team recommendations to requests from the clients themselves, ensuring they meet best practices and align with their digital strategy and goals.

  • Create strategic digital roadmaps to achieve buy-in with client contacts at all levels from C-suite stakeholders to digital marketing executives. 

  • Deliver Business Reviews that consider opportunities for cross-channel collaboration.

  • Regularly meet with clients in person.

The Person:

  • A passion & aptitude for Digital Marketing.

  • You expect excellence in every interaction between SGM and our clients.

  • Results-driven.

  • Google Analytics & Google Ads certified. 

  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, AWR and Google Search Console. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven organisational skills, allowing you to plan and present detailed proposals and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.

  • Proven track record managing client requirements. This includes both planning and managing multi-disciplinary campaigns, and also ad-hoc work.

  • A team player, happy to collaborate with the rest of the team to create multi-discipline campaigns.

  • Can support the creation of sales collateral as required & attend relevant pitch meetings.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Google Analytics & Google Ads certified
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, AWR and Google Search Console.
  • Proven ability to manage a team
  • An excellent grasp of mathematics and basic statistics
  • Both written and spoken English to a high standard
  • Prioritisation, time and workload management
  • Evidenced passion for working in the digital marketing industry essential
