Retail Clerk
Applications are invited for the position of Retail Clerk, at Roadstone Classis, Ovens Co. Cork.
The person appointed will report to the Classis Retail Manager.
Roadstone Ltd are Ireland’s leading building materials supplier. Products include stone, concrete, blacktop, blocks, paving and roof tiles. Roadstone Retail has a network of retail outlets across the country that sell a broad range of high-quality building materials to the public.
About the role
Key areas of responsibility:
Dealing with customers and members of the public in a professional and helpful manner.
Scheduling of deliveries, optimising of transport and processing of dockets.
Daily Cash reconciliations.
Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Retail Manager.
Management of the Retail sales/cost reports for audit compliance.
Issuing Purchase Orders and liaising with suppliers and Contractors.
Filing of delivery dockets and timesheets relevant to purchase order’s issued.
Manage and operate the office in accordance with policies and procedures.
Process all orders in an efficient and a timely manner.
Other duties as requested by the Retail Manager.
The following knowledge, skills, competencies are required for this role:
Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Detail orientated with an ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
Knowledge of Zellis, Oracle and Command Alkon systems would be an advantage.
Knowledge of Roadstone building materials would be an advantage.
