Valeter / Yard Person (JCB)
Dennison JCB is the JCB dealer for construction, industrial and access equipment and generators across Northern Ireland and County Donegal.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Full Time Valeter/Yard Person with some delivery van driving duties.

About the role
Hours & Location
This position will be based at our Dennison JCB Depot in Ballyhartfield, Templepatrick. The core hours of work will be Monday to Friday; 08:30 – 17:00, however, some flexibility will be expected outside of these hours as needed due to operational requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Valeting and cleaning a range of new and used JCB machines, internally and externally, and to a high quality standard with great attention to detail
General housekeeping of Dennison JCB premises (workshop, external yard area and outbuildings etc.) and ensuring these areas are kept clean and tidy
Delivery driver duties as required i.e. delivering parts to customer sites
Ad hoc duties commensurate with the position
What you will need
Required criteria
- Previous relevant vehicle / plant machinery valeting experience to a high quality standard
- Previous experience of yard maintenance / housekeeping
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner
- Be accountable
- Possess a full driving licence
- Have the ability to pay great attention to detail when cleaning machines
- Be self-motivated, proactive and have the ability to work on their own initiative
- Have the ability to prioritise effectively and be highly organised
- Be willing to accept change and have the ability and flexibility to adapt accordingly as business needs require
- Have a responsible and methodical attitude to work
Desired criteria
- Experience of working in or knowledge of the plant or agri industry would be advantageous
