Practice Manager

We welcome applicants for a full time position of Practice Manager in East Belfast.  This exciting and unique role will bring opportunity for the perfect candidate to share their skills across two sites initially, Willowfield Surgery 3 days per week and Cregagh Surgery two days per week with the aim of merging the two practices on the Montgomery Road site in 2025.

Willowfield Surgery is a well-respected, four Partnered GP practice currently providing care for 4150 patients.  Cregagh Surgery is a well-established two partnered practice serving 3780 patients.  Our Clinical and administrative staff are valued in their roles and thrive in a supportive and positive workplace. We train undergraduate medical students and GP trainees and both practices are active in our local federation.

We see the value in working together to futureproof general practice for the local population.  We are currently in active consultation with the Department of Health’s Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) with the aim to extend and renovate the Cregagh Surgery building, so we can continue to provide excellent GMS services to the patients we serve.  This will also allow for the expanding GP workforce and for us to provide first rate facilities for the role out of Multi-disciplinary Teams (MDTs) within General Practice, a key priority within the Health and Social Care transformation programme.

We shall employ an aspirational, well-motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a strong business acumen and can employ a strategic approach to lead the Practices and build on existing relationships while working towards shared goal of merging two excellent teams.

As you would expect, patient-focused care is central to everything we do. If you are proactive, innovative and well-organised and believe you have the qualities and skills necessary for this key position, we welcome your application and hope to add you to our hardworking team!
