Night Porter - Part Time Position

Job Title: Hotel Night Porter

Guest Services:

• Greet guests upon arrival during late hours and assist with check-in procedures.

• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

• Assist guests with luggage and transportation arrangements as needed.

Security and Safety:

• Patrol hotel premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.

• Respond to emergencies, disturbances, or suspicious activities in a timely manner.

• Follow hotel procedures for handling incidents, including contacting appropriate authorities if necessary.

• Perform routine safety checks and report any maintenance or security issues to the relevant departments.

Administrative Tasks:

• Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and balancing cash drawers.

• Update reservation systems and guest profiles with accurate information.

• Prepare and distribute wake-up calls and other guest communications as requested.

Maintenance and Housekeeping:

• Conduct regular inspections of public areas, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.

• Address any housekeeping issues or maintenance concerns during the night shift.

Team Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.

• Provide support to other staff members as needed during busy periods or emergencies.

• Assist in training new night staff members on hotel procedures and protocols.
