Job Purpose:             

Responsible for researching, developing, and delivering a national sector specific sales strategy, supporting the regional sales teams to maximise existing accounts, generate new business converting hire and all related revenue for Wernick Power Solutions, meeting annual sales objectives, supporting marketing campaigns, owns the customer experience, maximising the effective use of systems and assets to achieve or exceed a revenue target in excess of £1,200,000 per annum.

 This role can be based at any of our Wernick Power locations: Glasgow, Eggborough, Widnes, Aldridge or Avonmouth

About the role

Responsibilities:

  •  Deal with customer PQQ & ITT documentation in consultation with the Head of Sales and Wernick Power Directors

  • Attend and customer meetings with the Head of Sales, Regional Sales Managers and Wernick

  • Prepare and deliver sector specific and specialist product customer presentations.

  • Attend review meetings and ensure action points are responded to in a timely manner.

  • Deal with any customer enquiries or complaints

  • Hold sector specific & specialist product training sessions with relevant members of staff.

  • Hold conference calls to disseminate client information with relevant members of staff.

  • Introduce and promote new specialist products where required.

  • To carry out site surveys as and when required

  • To maintain accurate and detailed customer records

  • To plan 50% of appointments one week in advance

  • To spend a minimum of 60% of the working week in the field

  • To plan a minimum of 10 client meetings per week (face to face or virtual).

  • To develop, support and accompany regional sales managers on visits to customers as and when required, and to lead by example.

  • To organise and attend client events (which may fall outside normal working hours)

  • To open new accounts and drive new sector growth.

  • To assist in ensuring clients adhere to credit limits and resolve account queries.

 Reporting:

  • Manage and report customer KPI data.

  • Report sales activity through CRM software, showing others “what good looks like”.

  • Ensure expenses are accurately reported and supported with VAT receipts.

  • Ensure mileage returns are reported to payroll in a timely fashion.

  • Complete customer satisfaction surveys as and when required.

  • To ensure orders received directly from clients are passed with all relevant details to the supplying depot in a timely fashion.
