About the role
1. To clean and maintain bars and ancillary areas to the agreed standard and in a safe, healthy and hygienic manner.
To present and serve all beverages and food items in a friendly and professional manner as dictated by procedures, giving due regard to the health, safety and wholesomeness of those food and beverage items.
To store, issue and receive stock and other condiments and food items and otherwise deemed necessary for service.
To participate in all service, cleaning and hygiene procedures to the agreed standard, giving due regard to the safety of others.
To follow exactly all procedures regarding the cash handling and processing charges to hotel, guests and suppliers accounts.
To dispense all products exactly to procedure and house policy and to follow legislation as directed by The Weights & Measures act.
To always work in a professional and friendly manner.
To always attempt to anticipate guests needs and provide the required service.
To always work part of the overall team.
To carry out all duties, and to abide by the standards, procedures and policies adopted by the hotel.
