Sand is a finite resource, and it’s running out. Today, population growth and the pace of progress means the world is devouring sand like never before – 50 billion tonnes a year globally. Job Purpose
To oversee and efficiently resolve any issues which may impact productivity schedules. This role involves working to deadlines in a highly pressured, fast moving manufacturing environment.
About the role
Responsibilities
· Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct faults in all Machinery, Services and plant within Facility.
· Diagnose and resolve Machine and Facility Breakdowns and issues quickly and efficiently.
· Complete and support planned maintenance as required on all plant and machinery.
· Cost effectively source replacement and service parts.
· Identify and Complete Continuous improvement activities in all areas of Facility.
· Assist facilities in the implementation of facilities workload and tasks.
· Adhere to the company’s contractor management procedure.
· Work with production team to agree preventative maintenance taks.
· Complete and update required maintenance records.
· Maintain target 5s standards for your work area and identify and implement improvements.
· Train operators on SOPs and new equipment
· Carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance plan.
· Perform other job-related duties.

· To adhere to CDE policy and practices.
· To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
· To be able to work a dayshift shift pattern (3 days per week with every 3rd week working 4 days per week)
What you will need
Required criteria
- Time served/ fully qualified technician with relevant industrial experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role, with a proven track record and experience in all aspects of Machinery and Facilities Maintenance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clearance to work in UK
- Available to work flexible hours
Desired criteria
- NVQ level 3 Qualification or equivalent.
- CPC qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role within the Manufacturing/ Engineering industry
