Senior Care Assistant
The Senior Care Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Staff
Nurses and undertakes tasks and duties delegated by the Staff Nurses or the
Nurse Manager. They will be responsible for administering medications to
residential patients and work collaboratively with the overall care team to
meet the needs of residents, following policy and procedures while providing
supervision to more junior staff.
About the role
Essential Criteria:
Have a minimum of 1 years experience in a caring role
Willingness to build a successful and professional team providing good leadership and support for all staff
Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation
Desirable Criteria:
NVQ in Care
Previous experience of distributing medications
Knowledge of RQIA Regulations
