Production Operator - (Old Shotblaster) - Night Shift
We have NIGHT Shift vacancies for Production Operators at our Old Shotblaster.
The Old Shotblaster is a Secondary Production Process and the Production team member will assist to achieve the weekly Production Target ensuring orders are completed.
You can expect to start earning £628 per week + £500 joining Bonus. (Min starting salary £34,156)

About the role
We will train you to:
- Understand and operate the Shotblaster machine in automatic;
- Understand the quality of texturing required and the ability to adjust turbines to increase/decrease amount of shot required;
- Identify seconds/rejects and allocate to waste
- Adjust the speed of the belt accordingly
- Complete daily record sheets/ maintenance issues;
- Move and operate the infeed and outfeed lines as required
- Ensure the machine is stocked with the correct amount of shot
- Empty bins and cleaning duties at the end of shift
- Carry out quality checks as required
- Operate and use the forklift as required.
What you will need
Required criteria
- No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
Desired criteria
- 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths A – C.
- Operating experience.
- Full and clean driving licence
- Experience of Operating Control Panels
- Interest in Working with Machines
