Quality Technician
Job Purpose.
Performing and reporting results from laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support investigations undertaken by the Technical teams. There may be a requirement to work between a number of our locations
Key duties and responsibilities.
· Adhere to all health safety and environmental requirements
· Perform all tasks following strict methodologies
Collecting material samples from our quarry and manufacturing processes.
Communicating with managers, production and commercial personnel where potential issues may arise and developing solutions with them.
Liaising with Technical Laboratory Managers on product or process performance.
· Assist with internal and external audits.
Keeping accurate records, updating database and maintaining QC equipment.
Conducting site visits to address complaints
Supervision of concrete pours
· Additional duties as required.
About the role
Key Skills.
Recent or in final year of relevant qualification/course would be an advantage.
1-2 years relevant experience in a laboratory or construction industry would be an advantage
Competent record keeping skills and attention to detail
Computer literate and good communication skills.
