Trainee Utilities Supervisor (Ref: LM/10010)
Do you want to become a Utilities Supervisor??
You will shadow a Senior Supervisor and be given "on the job training" to achieve the following:
Manage the day to day activities of digging squads and resolve any issues
Responsible for ensuring all work is carried out within the guidelines set out by our client Northern Ireland Water
Reporting the Senior Supervisor, you are expected to plan the daily scheduling whilst working within specific timeframes
Working in a team of three, you will liaise with the other Supervisors to ensure the work is completed efficiently and to high standards
Computer literacy is essential and training will be given on our bespoke system
Some previous experience would be a bonus, however not essential
We are looking for an enthusiastic, keen learner...... full training will be provided for the right person
This is a very busy working environment and offers overtime and weekend work. You would be expected to be available for "On Call", working on a rota basis
Hours of work are 07:00 - 17:00 (Monday-Friday)

About the role
The role will involve scheduling work for the squads using our in-house system
This will include repair and maintenance work e.g. burst mains and sewer repairs to new installs e.g., connections and mains laying.
You will also be expected to ensure all paperwork, maps and information pertaining to the jobs is accurate and up to date
Must be organised and have the ability to re-schedule work at short notice
