We are now recruiting for a Sales Support Co-ordinator GB to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will work as part of the GB Internal Sales team and will be a main point of contact for GB customers providing them with excellent customer service.

They will also be required to work closely with GB Regional Sales Managers in providing them with the necessary administration support to build relationships with account customers and merchants to develop and enhance AG sales.

About the role

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers to produce customer quotations on AX, as required, using the Prospective Project Table

  • Maintain the Prospective Project Table on AX to allow the team an overall view of current projects, quotations and sales pipeline.

  • Process orders received from customers and Regional Sales Managers and enter on AX.

  • Set-up site accounts as required ensuring agreed rates are applied.

  • Liaise closely with Business Development Team regarding CRM system i.e. providing quote details, lead information and job status.

  • Organise samples as requested from customers and Regional Sales Managers.  All samples need to be requested via Microsoft Sample Request Form.

  • Liaise closely with Despatch offices to ensure orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Ensure customer enquiries are dealt with efficiently and orders are produced within the required timescale, liaise with Production Teams when the relevant information cannot be found on Power BI.

  • Investigate credit requests and if required update customer’s account.

  • Manage complaints on system with Regional Sales Managers and Heads of Sales.

  • Deal with all incoming phone calls and emails relating to customers and merchants.

  • Weekly review and clear down of all open Sales Orders.

  • Monthly review of all active Sales Agreements.

  • General housekeeping of AX

  • Provide support & assistance to AG’s “Outside Rooms” department as and when required.

  • Co-operation with management and other staff in a pleasant and professional manner.

  • Other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with the role, within the post holder’s capabilities.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • 5 or more GCSE’s at grade C or above (inc. Maths and English)
  • At least 1 year’s administration experience in a busy office environment preferably sales administration
  • Good mathematical skills, ability to calculate load requirements and pack sizes etc.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Must deal with customers in a professional and confident manner.
  • Competent in MS Office and data input.
  • Good time keeper. Flexible to work overtime to meet the needs of the business

Desired criteria

  • Previous experience working in the construction industry and/or building products knowledge
  • Commercial awareness
  • Proficient in the use of PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics AX
