Foreman
CTS are recruiting for a Site Supervisor to run the day to day operation of one of our contracts for a leading Client.
You will need to be a confident leader, who can manage and motivate a team of on the ground. You will also need to have the ability to build and manage relationships with colleagues, customers and other key stakeholders.
The job will give you some fantastic opportunities to work with a variety of people at all levels of seniority in a very fast-moving environment.
About the role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee refurbishment projects with values up to £1 million
Manage multi-elemental works across various trades and disciplines.
Supervise external cyclical maintenance works for social housing.
Carrying out Inspections and Post Inspection of work and identifying areas of improvement whilst being responsible for measurements and quality controls
Maintain communication with peers, client services team, contractors and management
Responsible for a team of operatives and dealing with any queries that arise
Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works within qualified work areas and assisting on site where necessary
Attend, diagnose and repair faults/issues having due regard to customer care in this specific environment
Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently
Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that CTS Projects Ltd expect
Uphold Data Protection Policies
Health & Safety: (H&S)
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
Observe & follow all manual handling practices
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Strong experience in a relevant trade
· Supervisory experience
· Experience working in response maintenance in social housing is an advantage
· Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
· Full UK Driving License
· 5 years’ experience in construction industry
