Welders / Fabricators
TBC Conversions are recruiting for Welder / Fabricator to join their established team in Dungannon.
The Role:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the TBC team and will carry out various types of vehicle conversion to a very high standard, with customer satisfaction always in mind.
TBC Conversions may retain a list of reserve candidates arising from this recruitment for any vacancies which may arise which are the same or similar and are of an equal grade of pay. Such a reserve list will be compiled and held for a period of 6 -12 months.
About the role
Responsibilities will include:
Receiving the vehicle and carrying out pre-work inspection & paperwork.
Read and understand customer specifications as per Job Card.
Ability to produce quality work in the time allocated, and account for the quality produced.
A range of duties to include:
Ability to identify, remove and refit vehicle/electrical components in preparation for welding.
Use of angle grinder, metal saw, induction heater, etc. in vehicle preparation.
Ability to inspect and position new parts in preparation for welding.
MIG welding – Light plate.
Clean, body seal and refit components to allow vehicle to pass into build.
Complete & sign all paperwork

Candidates must:
A mindset that prioritises health and safety.
Excellent attention to detail.
Have a good standard of education to include GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
Have at least 1 -2 years of welding experience in a similar environment.
Be self – motivated with excellent communication skills.
Understand technical information and drawings.
You will possess a strong team ethos in your work and always willing to provide support to co-workers.
Willing to continue to develop and learn
Excellent attention to detail.
Full driving licence
It would be desirable, but not essential that candidates also have:
Relevant qualifications e.g., City and Guilds, BTEC
