Morrow Contracts was founded nearly 40 years ago and is one of the most respected utilities and civil engineering companies in Northern Ireland. Currently Morrow Contracts is working in partnership with Openreach, building the Fibre Network in Northern Ireland and Scotland.

The role:

At Morrow Contracts, we have an exciting permanent opportunity for an individual to join our well-established office based administrative team. We require an individual who is competent in working in a fast-paced environment, using an array of computer systems and is keen to develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be required to: 

1. Work on multiple computer systems to action a wide range of tasks including data input;

2. Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders both orally and in writing;

3. Handle complex data with excellent attention to detail;

4. Participate in a team in a target driven environment to support the delivery of the customer service, quality and performance;

5. Provide general administrative support where required;

6. Any other duties as required by the Office Manager.

About the role

Essential criteria:

GCSE/GCE 'O' level in English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent;

A minimum of 1 years paid administrative experience in a busy office environment, working to tight deadlines;

Experience in Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Outlook and Word;

Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, manage a range of conflicting priorities and work on own initiative;

Knowledge and understanding of geographical systems such as Aurora, Symology, ARC Gis and LSBud is desired but not essential. Training will be provided where necessary.

Due to location of the Morrow Contracts office personal transport will be required.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, with the possibility of overtime hours at peak times. 

Salary:

To be negotiated, dependent on experience
