This is an important position working closely with the Food & Beverage team.
About The Fleet
The Fleet Hotel is a wonderful boutique style Hotel located in the centre of Dublin on the edge of Temple Bar. It comprises of some beautiful period buildings including the iconic Bewleys Café, much loved by Dubliner’s for decades. The Fleet Hotel is synonymous with local Dublin history, before becoming the Fleet Hotel, 19/20 Fleet Street was home to Bewley’s Café which was established by Ernest Bewley in 1905. Bewleys were known to be one of the finest Tea Houses in Europe and a favourite with Dubliner’s for generations.
Role Responsibilities
Responsible to: Operations Manager/F&B Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
Promote a positive atmosphere and ensure customer satisfaction.
Bar Operations:
Assist with the preparation and serving of beverages.
Ensure the bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular stock takes and assist manage inventory records.
Marketing and Promotion:
Help to develop and implement promotional events and activities.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations.
Required Skills:
Skills:
Strong organisational skills.
Minimum of 1 year of bar experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts.
Proficiency in using POS systems and other bar software.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Personal Attributes:
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
