Job Purpose
This permanent, office-based position is within our design/technical/estimating office, where the successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of design and estimating within a fast-paced, busy construction office. You will need to be comfortable using AutoCAD for creating technical fabrication drawings, and a strong numerical ability, coupled with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
Experience with Revit is desirable, but not essential.
About the role
What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing and drafting layouts, fabrication drawings, foundation plans, and elevations for modular projects.
Estimating costs for projects.
Keeping up-to-date with technical information and building regulations related to refurbished modular buildings.
Assisting with fresh enquiries and ongoing projects, including design changes and revisions.
Collaborating with sales, factory production, project control, site managers, and clients as needed.
Ensuring all sales quotations and working drawings are updated, with accurate pricing and technical information.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Excellent customer service skills and good interpersonal communication.
Experience in the modular accommodation industry in a similar role.
