Senior Hire Controller

Thanks to the incredible growth of Wernick Modular Hire, we're on the lookout for a Senior Hire Controller to be a key player in ensuring the seamless operation of our busy office. In this pivotal role, you'll take charge of keeping everything running smoothly, helping to maintain the high standards that have driven our success. About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Prepare hire contracts, quotations, and relevant correspondence.
Participate in testing system upgrades and provide feedback.
Quote customers for small modular projects.
Ensure all transactions are completed with accuracy and within set timelines.
Understand depot P&L basics and assist in controlling costs.
Source equipment to meet customer requirements.
Handle customer enquiries and identify new business opportunities.
Record and track enquiries, ensuring proper documentation.
Follow up on quotations and enquiries in a timely manner.
Prepare accurate reports for the General Manager and Commercial Manager
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety guidelines.
Raise cap ex’s, sales, and unit disposal/sale forms through the company intranet.
Support the depot in meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with the Yard Foreman/Chargehand to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
Manage workload in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
Work collaboratively with pre-construction team and commercial managers
Manage the after sales and servicing requirements for buildings on hire
Adhere to best practices of ISO9001

Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication
Team player with the ability to mentor and support colleagues.
Proactive and able to manage own workload efficiently.
An excellent understanding of Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.

- Hire Controller experience preferably in the modular buildings industry
- A good level of communication skills both verbal and written
- A good level of Maths and English
- Excellent use of Microsoft office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Desired criteria
- Ability to use Microsoft Project is desirable
