IMS Electrician

Role Function

• Installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms.

• Wiring of Electrical Equipment and Switchgear systems to engineering drawings and schematics.

• Install and terminate cables, components, and control devices.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.

• Carry out point-to-point wiring and functional checks.

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with industry regulations.

• Identify and report faults, defects, or non-conformances.

• Work closely with mechanical fitters and supervisors to meet production deadlines.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

• Site Delivery, Installation and commissioning on completed SKIDS & PODS across Europe.

The person:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Electrician, or Electrical Assembler

• Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings

• Experience with panel wiring, cable termination, and component installation

• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

 Desirable

• Experience in switchgear, power distribution, or control systems

• Relevant electrical qualification or apprenticeship

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, BS standards)

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
