Field Service Supervisor
As a customer-centric business we are seeking only the best to support our Dealers and Customers. Reporting to the Product Support Manager, you will be working within a skilled team. This exciting role will mainly involve supervising our service team with travel to various customer locations globally for installation, commissioning and training of our products into the likes of ports, mines, quarries and many other sectors.
About the role
Key duties and responsibilities
Supervise field service duties including installations, training, refurbishments etc. of Telestack equipment.
Support our core values including our safety culture, ensuring risk assessments and method statements are in place for all activities.
Scheduling of our service engineers to jobs and make the necessary travel plans.
Provide feedback to customers following jobs via service reports.
Estimating costs and timeframes for project installation.
Capture and report field our service hours and costs for each job.
Support our quality and engineering teams with continuous improvement projects across our business.
Support our customers with general aftermarket issues when needed.
Support the planning and execution of training schools with our customers.
Support the maintenance and general upkeep of our tools, equipment and vehicles.
Occasional travel to customers may be required at times.
Role will be based in Omagh, Northern Ireland.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a service environment.
- Proactive attitude towards Safety.
- Excellent attitude towards customer focus.
- Interpersonal skills to lead, supervise, assign work.
- Competency to read and understand technical drawings & schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Creative mind to find ways to improve our workflows methods, processes.
- Be computer literate in the usual range of Microsoft products including MS Excel.
- Hold a valid clean driver’s license and passport.
- Able to work effectively with a range of diversified cultures.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Available and dedicated to travel occasionally.
Desired criteria
- Recognised qualification in business management.
- NEBOSH certification or similar qualification.
- Recognised qualification relating to mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Previous industry experiences with Bulk Materials Handling, Material Processing or Crushing and Screening industry.
