Sleeping Giant Media is a multi award winning business with clients across the UK and Europe, and we’re looking for someone to join our Paid Media team as a trainee. As a member of the paid team, you will be working across Google Ads, Facebook and LinkedIn campaigns (and many more), developing a wide range of skills.
Overview
We are offering a paid, 6-month placement to learn best practices around paid management. As a Giant Trainee, you’ll benefit from some pretty snazzy, well-tested and highly-respected internal training that we run for all our team. From the moment a Giant joins us, they are introduced to intensive training to build up their knowledge on any given subject to the point they’re viewed as experts. Experts who are sought after to speak at leading marketing & digital themed events, as well as run some Giant accounts for some pretty Giant clients…That’s what makes our Giants so well known – we really do grow the best in the industry. The successful candidate will be supporting the Paid team in delivering billable work for clients with the aim of developing your skills, embodying our core values and attributes, and ensuring that we are always delivering the best service to our teams and our clients, upholding the ethos of “getting it done” no matter what the obstacles or challenges are.
Throughout your time with us, you’ll collect and learn a whole host of skills across the foundations of digital marketing as well as how to build and deliver high-performing, multi-channel digital ad strategies for our clients that will bulk out your CV quite nicely!

About the role
The Role:
• Learn how to set up, and monitor campaigns across a variety of platforms including Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to name a few.
• Working closely with the Paid manager to identify client performance opportunities
• Assist in work across a huge variety of clients, identifying and completing actions that help improve performance.
• Working with the Paid team to come up with cross-channel strategies and new campaign ideas to ensure client KPI targets are met.
• Attend regular training sessions
• Attend and contribute towards meetings with prioritised actions
The Person:
• Demonstrated passion for Digital Marketing (Google Ads or Meta advertising experience is a bonus)
• Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
• Confident in attention to detail, spotting errors quickly and effectively
• Both written and spoken English to a high standard
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent maths and statistical/analytical skills
• Keen ability to problem solve and find solutions in a timely manner

This is a paid 6 month placement, paid at National Minimum Wage. The placement is based on working full time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week.
The candidate will need to be based in the UK as they will be required to visit our office in Folkestone for training/team days. Ideally we are looking for someone who will be able to visit our offices two to three times a week.
