Pastry Chef at Cahernane House
The Cahernane Hotel, Mucross Road, Killarney is a four star boutique 46 bedroom hotel just outside Killarney Town.
We are looking for a Pastry Chef to join the team.
Salary from €19 per hour, Full time.
Eligible candidates must have:
· Experience in Pastry
· Accommodation within commuting distance
· Eligible to work in Ireland
· Good level of English
· Ability to work with a small team
· Have excellent attention to detail
About the role
Responsibilities will include :
Dessert and pastry preparation
Service and presentation of all pastries
Creativity and menu design
Working in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to
Responsible for stock control within the pastry section
Assisting in other areas of the Kitchen as and when required.
Ensuring all special requests made by guests are met
What you will need
Required criteria
- HACCP or Food Hygiene training and experience
- Previos pastry Chef experience for at least 2 years
