Morrow Contracts are looking for a FIBRE INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR to manage the day to day work for various squads

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in supervision / logistics to join a team of motivated individuals to help build a fibre network .

The successful candidate will liaise between the client contract manager & cable team.

Knowledge & Skills required:

*Competent in the use of Excel , MS word , outlook , depotnet , PDF writer

*Fibre network build / installation experience

*Understanding plans/work packs

*Understanding of small civils ( excavation )

*Ability to use smartphone, tablet & laptop

*Understanding the importance of time / work objectives

*Good communication / team building

Hours of Work - Monday - Friday (07:00am - 17:00pm) PLUS overtime when required

Remuneration based on experience

About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the role will include the following:

  • Manage the day to day activities of the fibre Optic Cable Team and resolve any issues

  • Plan the daily scheduling whilst working within specific timeframes

  • Close liaison with Civils Teams

  • Liaison with internal administration staff to ensure work is scheduled in advance

  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards

  • Monitoring paperwork to ensure all information is current and accurate

  • A solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations, and ability to relay to squads on site would be helpful

    • Driving licence

    • Punctuality
