Catering Assistant – Food Delivery & Service Support

About the Role:In this role, you will be responsible for the service of food prepared in our main hotel kitchen to one of our properties with the Moran Hospitality Group. You will set up the service area, serve guests in a professional and friendly manner, and clear down the area post-service before returning to the main hotel. This is a hands-on role that combines logistics, food service, and guest interaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and deliver food in a timely, cordial manner.
Represent the company with professionalism.
Prepare and maintain the service area, ensuring all food is presented to high standards.
Clean service equipment and dining areas following service.
Ensure correct storage and transportation of food items and equipment.
Uphold personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards in line with company policies.
Promote and comply with the company’s health and safety procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 25 (for insurance purposes).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential.
