QC Electrician

MDE Installations Ltd is one of Ireland's leading electrical contractors, delivering high-quality electrical installation services to meet a wide range of client requirements across the country.

We are seeking qualified Electricians to join our Team

You will be working closely with our experienced Installer teams, Supervisors and with our Operational team to ensure efficient running of the Nationwide Electrical Framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out meter installations in domestic and commercial properties.

• Complete testing and commissioning of installations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Identify and complete remedial works where required.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate job records using handheld mobile technology.

• Ensure customer electrical supplies are left in a safe and satisfactory condition upon completion of works.

• Deliver excellent customer service and provide customers with advice and information when required.

• Escalate technical or operational issues to Supervisors and Line Managers.

• Build strong working relationships with Contact Centre Agents, Auditors, Supervisors, and other internal stakeholders.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR requirements when handling customer information.

• Adapt to changing priorities and work flexibly to meet business needs.

Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements

• National Craft Certificate (Level 6) or City & Guilds NVQ Level 4 qualification.

• Active QC number.

• Ability to travel across Leinster and Munster.

• Minimum of 1 year's experience within the commercial and/or industrial electrical sector.

• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and health & safety requirements.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

• Full authorisation to work in Ireland.

• Full clean driving licence.

Desirable

• Previous experience in metering, utilities, or field-based electrical work.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
