Location: Ipswich, to cover services across Suffolk, flexible working considered
Full Time: 37 hours
Salary: £60,000

The role:
We are looking for a Director of Corporate Services to lead the ongoing evolution of processes including technology platforms, systems and services. This will enable Leading Lives to continue transformation across all parts of the business, including through digital ways of working to maximising the investment Leading Lives has made into services through future automation and innovation.
You will be responsible for work programmes that include:
· Audit and compliance.
· Corporate safety and risk.
· Corporate finance.
· Information technology and governance.
· Corporate properties.
· Commercial Business growth, sustainability, and efficiency.
You will form part of the newly formed executive team that sets the strategic direction of the organisation with the Board, aligned to our organisational values, using the principles in our pillars:

Accountabilities:
· Taking a lead on the development, implication and evaluation of the corporate services strategy to ensure our resources are dynamic to respond to the changing needs of the services and service contracts.
· To develop, promote and drive new ways of working to achieve effective processes that support Leading Lives sustainability.
· To oversee, develop and lead the financial activity within Leading Lives, line managing the finance team. This will include ensuring adequate processes are in place for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing etc.
· To lead the procurement activity including overseeing the commercial contracts for services and contractors in Leading Lives, maintaining, attracting, and winning new contracts for services.
· To steer the Information governance team and take a significant role in ensuring compliance in all areas of data protection and management.
· To continually develop and maintain the risk register, working across all functions in Leading Lives to monitor and audit mitigation activities.
· Providing key reports to the Board and key stakeholder.
· Direct the business development activities, communication and marketing activities and external profile of the organisation.
· Lead and develop the property and health and safety culture of the organisation, working with the advisor to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
· To lead, develop and embed technology and efficiency into all areas of the business, ensuring ICT governance, compliance and access is sufficient and effective.
What you need:
· We are looking for someone with a track record of excellent leadership in the financial and/or technology sector.
· Willingness to embrace the Health and Social Care sector.
· Proven effective leadership skills and experience, or formal qualification in leadership/business.
· Level 5 qualification in technology or finance (or related equivalents)
· Highly effective communication skills across a diverse range of contacts including conflict management, influencing, presentation skills and advice/guidance.
· Ability to influence and challenge at Board level.
· Ability to liaise with Regulatory Bodies and other external stakeholders as appropriate for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
· Proven experience in delivering results and effective decision making.
· Ability to travel to different locations within Suffolk and wider.
