About this role
The role
You'll oversee the bar during your shifts, making sure every customer gets a warm welcome and fast, friendly service. Day to day, that means:
Supervising and supporting bar staff, including rotas, training and shift briefings
Serving customers and leading by example on busy nights
Managing stock, deliveries, cellar work and ordering
Cash handling, till reconciliation and end-of-night procedures
Making sure licensing laws, responsible serving, and health and safety standards are followed
Handling customer queries and resolving any issues calmly
What you will need
Required criteria
- At least 1–2 years' bar experience
- Available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Confident, reliable and good with people
Desired criteria
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
- Stock management experience
