An Chúirt Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading by example, and supporting the smooth operation of a busy hotel bar.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high service standards, mentoring team members, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
About this role
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure an exceptional guest experience at all times.
Prepare and serve beverages to the highest standards.
Support the Bar Manager and Food & Beverage Management team in the daily operation of the bar.
Lead and motivate bar staff during service periods.
Assist with staff training and onboarding of new team members.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety regulations, and hotel policies.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control procedures.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Ensure the bar is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy bar or hotel environment.
Previous supervisory or senior bartender experience is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A positive attitude with a hands-on approach to service.
The ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
